Shopify Plus sites should be ready for the Script Editor deprecation. The deadline is August 28. Here's how Shopify uses AI to help: About a week ago, Shopify released a report. You'll find it here: /admin/settings/checkout/customizations-report?tab=scripts-reports (If you don't see "Shopify Scripts", you're not affected.) It uses AI to analyze the scripts' code and tell you what it does. Important: AI isn't 100% reliable. It might miss details of what the code does. If you're certain of what each script does, you have two options. 1. You might need to find an app from the app store. For example, Shopify's free Checkout Blocks. 2. If no app works for you, you need a Shopify Functions extension developed. The report proposes apps that could work, and which Function API is relevant. Note: - Scripts are written in Ruby, not everyone is a Ruby developer (even though it's easy to pick up). - Anything that affects checkout can (and should) take extra time to test and monitor. #shopifyplus #shopify #ecommerce
